Repertoire Requirements
There are no repertoire lists for this competition. Competitors must choose three selections from varying time periods such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, or Contemporary. Performing two selections from the same time period is acceptable; however these musical selections should vary in style (i.e.: Bach, Concerto and a short show or encore piece). Memorization is required for two pieces and optional for the remaining piece. An original, published copy of the music must be presented to the judges at the competition. The contestant must provide own accompanist. (When possible, accompanists with more than one contestant will be scheduled as close as possible. If an accompanist’s name is not on the entry form, adjacent performances cannot be scheduled. Contestants are responsible for notifying accompanists of the Accompanist Schedule).
